About

Rust Coast was founded by Kyle Valade, a software developer with 13+ years of experience, based near Vancouver, BC.

Before Rust Coast, Kyle was a lead engineer on Rivian's vehicle data platform, and before that spent six years in data at Carhartt.

He also spent a while learning to machine knit in his garage. Sewing, it turns out, is impossible.
